Founded in 1989, the Tumen Ekh Ensemble is Mongolia’s premier traditional performing arts group. With a mission to preserve and share the country’s rich cultural heritage, the ensemble brings centuries-old traditions to life on stage.Having performed in over 60 countries- including France, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom, the

Tumen Ekh Ensemble is internationally recognized for its authenticity and artistry.

The “Tumen Ekh” National Heritage Ensemble continuously enriches its repertoire through dedicated research, cultural promotion, and rigorous professional training. We specialize in a breathtaking array of Mongolian ethnic traditions, including folk long songs (Urtyn Duu), authentic Biyelgee (folk dance), national instrumentation, and both ancient and contemporary traditional dances of the Khalkha people.

Our portfolio features throat singing (Khöömii), ceremonial praise songs (Magtaal), contortion, and the mystical Tsam and Shamanic dances. We strive to keep our distinctive national arts vibrantly alive on the global stage. Since our founding, our professional artists have remained steadfast in their commitment to creating high-quality works that preserve the natural character and raw, inherited essence of our cultural legacy.
