Rainbow Horses project, aimed at enhancing equal participation and conveying the voices of the project participants to the public through art therapy, was successfully implemented in 2022 with a grant from the Australian Volunteers Program’s Impact Fund.
The project involved three groups of socially excluded individuals and communities from the Department of Hematology and Oncology at the National Center for Maternal and Child Health, the National Center for Mental Health, and one juvenile detention center that need an inclusive program to help them overcome the isolation they face.
As a result of the project, three large and 70 small Rainbow Horses were created with the engagement of about 70 participants and approximately 30 employees from the above-mentioned three organizations. These rainbow horses delivered unique feelings and stories of their creators to the public through the ACM’s Facebook page. Additionally, a project report exhibition was organized at the Red Ger Gallery of ACM. The project exhibition presented the project photo documentation and the rainbow horses created by the participants to the public free of charge.
