The Arts Council of Mongolia (ACM) is a non-governmental organization dedicated to public service, established in 2002 with the support of the Open Society Forum (Soros Foundation). Its mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of Mongolian arts and culture and to support the preservation and protection of unique cultural heritage, and it has been operating steadily since its founding.
ACM works to expand international cooperation in the arts sector by promoting Mongolian culture internationally, supporting Mongolian artists in creating their work globally, and inviting foreign artists to Mongolia. It maintains creative, multi-faceted partnerships with cultural and artistic organizations and artists in over 60 countries worldwide. Furthermore, ACM directs its activities toward promoting the role and significance of art in developing creative citizens through arts education, as well as preserving and disseminating cultural heritage.
The Arts Council of Mongolia implements three core programs—Art, Cultural Heritage, and Development—with the aim of contributing to the sustainable development, promotion, and preservation of Mongolian arts and culture.
